In response to the challenges posed by the global pandemic, I interned with a professor that lead the creation of virtual teaching and learning spaces for the Drexel College of Engineering who were faced with the necessity of transitioning their training from traditional in-person education to a remote setting
Using Autodesk Maya, I retopologized and optimized 3D models from photogrammetry provided by faculty, ensuring an authentic representation of engineering facilities. Adobe Photoshop was used during the texturing process.
This portfolio piece stands as a testament to the successful fusion of creativity and technical proficiency in addressing the educational challenges brought forth by the pandemic. By developing these virtual learning spaces, the goal was to contribute to the resilience and adaptability of the Drexel College of Engineering, providing a robust alternative to in-person education during unprecedented times.
